Early Childhood
Mikey Williams had extraordinary energy as a child and was prone to getting into fights with older kids. Mikey Williams’ parents encouraged him to pursue basketball to channel his inner energy and capture the enthusiasm in the atmosphere.
His mom taught him to shoot and dribble. When he was around 3 to 4 years old, Mikey Williams started playing for his local YMCA. Mikey Williams continued playing basketball in an outdoor court in his apartment complex.

Mikey Williams first picked up a basketball at the young age of 11 years old under the guidance of his two parents. His love for the game and need to get away from bullies found him being a ball boy for San Ysidro High School coach Terry Tucker. His enthusiasm and love for the game were infectious and loved by the team and coach.
At age 12 Williams dunked for the first time playing for the San Diego Sharks. By eighth grade, he was playing alongside Bronny James, son of Lebron James, for Amateur Athletic Union where he slowly rose to fame.
At 6’2″ and 175 pounds, he can play multiple positions for his team. He is a scoring guard who can also play point guard. He can also run, steal and pass extremely well. He has a smooth shooting style and is able to knock down shots from beyond the arc, as well as finish at the rim with both hands.
