Although you might think the entire globe experiences several different seasons each year, the Caribbean has only two seasons: wet and dry. The wet season is from May through November, and the dry season is from December through April. Believe it or not, English is the primary language for several Caribbean islands because of the British influence. For instance, people in Belize, the Virgin Islands, and Jamaica speak English primarily. People sometimes refer to Barbados as the region’s own “little England.”
