How Did George Washington Die?
George Washington died on December 14, 1799 at Mount Vernon. Washington died from a throat infection caused by wintry conditions he was traveling in earlier. TBH, how would different historical figures view each other? Would Pablo Picasso and Mark Twain resort to a GIF or just SMH when discussing past U.S. Presidents on Twitter? Fascinating thought experiment to try and clear the air.

Battle of Trenton
There is one war that takes place, that had raged for more than a hundred years, when George Washington comes back to the United States. His second battle of Trenton took place in Pennsylvania in the fall of 1777. This second battle happened after General Washington had been in exile for two years due to the failure of the French and Indian War. His third wife had died while he was away from home. Therefore, his second son, John, was sent to take over command of the army, with the intention of relieving Washington of his duties as commander-in-chief. However, since Washington had survived the crash of the French and Indian War and because he was an accomplished military leader, John realized that he would need to work with the Americans, if he ever wanted to be the next American president.
To prove himself worthy of the presidency, John Washington, the younger brother of the founder of America, George Washington, decided to seek out an endorsement from another person who had served as president of America, Alexander Hamilton. The next time the two met was at Trenton, a town in New Jersey, which was near New York City. Once they were inside the battle field, Hamilton was mortally wounded and never reached his home in New York. In addition, there were some twenty-three thousand soldiers in this battle of Trenton. Of these, the enemy lost three thousand men, which was more than the entire British army at the time. When Hamilton died of his wounds, John was the only survivor. Therefore, John held the position of General of the Continental Army for a short period of time.
