Coldest City On Earth
The answer to the question of the coldest city on earth we suppose depends on the semantics defining a city versus a town or village. Technically, the city of Yakutsk in Russia has the lowest winter temperatures of any city in the world.
However, a remote village which is a lengthy and arduous two day drive from Yakutsk, Oymyakon, is generally considered by experts and scientists to be the coldest inhabited location on planet earth. Temperatures in the winter in Oymyakon average a bone chilling, and spine shaking -58 degrees fahrenheit.
